Sally Bond
Director, Interior Designer
Sally is an experienced designer with a keen eye for detail. She loves to work with clients to develop a deeper understanding of what makes the most impact to them in their living environment. With a background in languages, ceramics, textiles and wallcoverings for the home, Sally trained in interior design at KLC in London and worked at various interior design studios before joining forces with Mitzi to establish Bond & Hicks, creating the perfect environment to bring her love of pattern, colour and art to each project.

Having created the interior and lifestyle brand MITZI B based in Teddington for 25 years Mitzi moved to West Sussex to specialise full time on the Interior design side of the business. Mitzi's experience in retail has given her an extensive range of suppliers to be able to source the right furniture, lighting and soft furnishings relevant to each project.

Bond & Hicks is an interior design studio based in West Sussex founded in 2017 by sisters-in-law Mitzi and Sally Bond. The studio is known for delivering well designed homes to the clients brief whether in the countryside, city or by the sea. Our design philosophy is to create timeless interiors not only in our selection of furniture, lighting and artwork, but by using a natural palette of materials and textures within the project budget.
Mission Statement
Mitzi and Sally work collaboratively on the creative process to ensure Bond & Hicks brings the client’s own vision to life in a way which suits the property whether a new build or a listed building. They pride themselves on creating the best use of every available space and draw on many sources of inspiration to deliver inviting and uplifting, timeless interiors.
They have created this website to showcase some of their projects over the last 7 years. They have worked closely with architects, contractors, builders and decorators always building a close relationship with each individual client to create a portfolio that spans from a Grade II listed property in Bath, a townhouse in Camberwell, a riverfront apartment in Battersea, new build beach houses in West Wittering and a new build family home in Reigate. They work on high end properties but are equally happy to work on smaller projects when they can schedule them into their programme.
